Walleye Capital of the World
Once you book your date, we will reach out to discuss all the particulars, such as where we will most likely launch from based on the time of year, what type of fishing you want to do as well as get to know you as a Client. We can talk about any special accommodations or needs, and do our best to customize a trip that works best for you. We provide all the equipment you will need for a successful day on the water.

About our Lake Erie Charter Trips
Late season this year (2024) we have moved away from the big 30ft class “6-pack” charter boat style of fishing and opted to go back to our roots. I personally enjoy the flexibility of fishing from what I call a “Big, little boat”. We went ahead and decided for a number of reasons to go with the Warrior V238. At just under 23ft long and almost 9 feet wide, this boat handles Lake Erie better than our 30+ foot charter boat in my opinion. It is faster, more nimble and allows us to begin our season early and extend our season well past when the big boats are stored away for the winter. This puts us in a good position to get our Lake Erie Walleye Charter guests on the reefs for the early season jig bite, and extend into the Walleye Slam and Fall Brawl that starts in October and runs through December each year.
Walleye Charter Day
We will communicate in advance about the specific launch and specific time of departure that is planned for your trip. Keep in mind these details are subject to change due to weather, water clarity and other factors, and the trip may be adjusted to provide the best opportunity for your Charter.
All launch points are within a 30 minute drive from Port Clinton, Ohio and it is recommended that you plan your lodging accommodations in this area. Our Charter trips usually depart about 15 minutes before sunrise just as the sun begins to give us enough light to safely depart (however this can be adjusted as needed). Plan to be at the meeting location about 30 minutes before sunrise to meet and go over the plan for the day and do the safety briefing. I will explain where the life jackets, first aid kit, fire extinguishers, etc. are located, how to use the radio, how to start and stop the boat (and remind everyone to use the bathroom one last time).
Planning for the Trip
If you are traveling to the area a day or more in advance please reach out to us before you leave the house. We want to discuss the weather forecast and make an educated decision based on the current and forecasted conditions before you travel. We may want to adjust the trip departure time, date, etc. and this would be the time to make those kinds of decisions. You will have the Captains cell phone number and we like to text or call to keep in touch as the date approaches. You can always call, text or shoot over an email if you have questions.
