Many of you will remember Capt. Sam Porkchop was a daily poster to this site in past years along with Capt. Jules. I see his new 67 site RV park has begun on Bridge Rd. (I believe that is also State Rt 163) across from the Dog Park and around the corner from Fort Firelands and the Canoe Club restaurant. They have begun the 8 million dollar project with a pole building at the front of the ground. Capt Sam wanted to have a place for all the out of town fishermen to have their boats with them as they camp right next to their boats and equipment.
